Hunger Games starting in BLM for Professional Technical?

Well today was interesting. 177 JOPs came out for all the Scrummaster roles in ET.

To hell with maintaining stability and keeping existing scrum master assignments in place???

Wonder how many of the 3,890 prof/tech in BLM affected by the IT transformation will put in for them. My guess 1100.

Take the red pill and let the MSO decide your fate, or take the blue pill and try to have a hand in your fate? Woops, wrong movie.

What a cluster

I was in the scrum master role and it's a joke. If youre in this role please save yourself amd learn some real skills in the technical realm because your job will be the first thing cut when they realize their stupid approach is just that. You lose skills sitting in that role. Good luck to all. Yes i played into their hands amd retired and its the best thing i ever did. There are not going to be severances for BAs. Its a farce. Good luck to all.

Ok idiots Scrum Master is a roll not an assignment

A roll? Like a dinner roll?

You might not want to call people idiots if the very next thing you say is idiotic.

I don't care if they call it a role, an assignment, or a turd sandwich. As long as you guys are using scrum, good luck getting anything done. ESPECIALLY if it's done correctly.

Ditch scrum and just go with the agile manifesto. The rest of it's garbage that consultants dreamed up that doesn't make anything faster.

Scrum overhead is just a new 15-20% bite into real work. Micromanagement on tiny tasks no no real big work will ever get done again. Unless you just like up sprints in serial and not call it waterfall when it really is.

"Ok idiots Scrum Master is a roll not an assignment they can’t give it to a Dev. Product owner is an assignment that can be delegated to a Dev or any team member as long as you own the product suite. Quit spreading garbage and causing panic. This is all bad enough without your lies."

This is why people are getting fired at SF. Scrum guide is just like 20 page document and if you just read it then you will know that all the understanding about scrum rituals and practises that have been told above is wrong. At SF so many people just preach and don't know. Sh-- about it. Scrum master became a refuge kind of role, I don't know anything .. ok I will become scrum master.

I was out of SF a while back and just to let you BMI SF job is considered at least ised to be considered a retirement job means go and relax there while on your way to retire. Once you come out of SF you realize how archaic the whole system and how much people are misusing and enjoying life..sorry enjoyed.

The 177 Scrummaster openings are for overstaffed applicants only. Maintain and understaffed technical analysts need not apply.

I work in a product suite with all understaffed roles save for the BA scrum masters. We will lose one or both of our scrum master because I hear they want devs to take on that work. We can lose any dev and be fine, but the loss of our scrum master would probably be the most disruptive loss from a work standpoint. It seems like they are shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.

I was told that automated emails with JOP recommendations were sent to analysts today as well
