Oracle competes with Amazon..... NOT

Oracle chief executive Safra Catz criticized the bidding process for a huge Pentagon cloud computing contract in a private dinner with President Donald Trump on Tuesday, complaining that it seemed designed for Amazon to win, according to people familiar with the matter.

Trump heard her out and said he wants the contract competition to be fair, but made no indication he’d interfere in the bidding, the people said. Oracle (ORCL, -2.48%), where Catz shares the CEO title with Mark Hurd, is competing with Amazon (AMZN, -3.01%) for the contract, a point she didn’t emphasize to Trump, the people said.

"seemed designed for Amazon to win" --- what could that mean? Maybe they require security? So, Oracle is out of the competition? LOL! Poor, poor Oracle.

One thing they did do, was get Oracle in the news as a "Cloud" competitor to Amazon.... NOT, but the general public doesn't know that. "Oracle..... is competing with Amazon for the contract". LOL again !!

Great post. You would think the Analysts would be more skeptical of what Catz says. But they just take it as fact. She manipulates useful idiots who are willing to be manipulated. LE, DJT, or Any number of Wall Street Analysts. They believe because they want it to be true. The truth would prove they are not doing their jobs.

Not DJT’s decision and the Pentagon will hate her for going over their heads - oracle just royally F:ed itself. That’s what idiots like the 3 stooges do!

If there is one thing that SC knows, it's how to manipulate an idiot in charge with dubious "facts" that they know nothing about. DJT will just believe what she says, since he has no idea about anything himself.
