Just wondering. Not too much chatter about layoffs lately so I'm taking it as a good sign.

Having a regional Data team doesn't make much sense to me. If we are all using the same database and all using IRMA and Datamonster, why does each region need people to enter data? Couldn't that be done centrally? Our Data team are all really cool and nice people, but I don't really get why they need to be regional. Since I'm a store TM, maybe someone could enlighten me.
Well in Florida they of course got rid of basically all of marketingat least 30 or more are laid off, but what you dont hear about is that the regional finance and safety teams are restructuring right now as well and also its coming tonthe data team as well, you just dont here about it since they are all regional teams they can control the leaking of information more... So yea there more layoffs going on right now just under the organic radar.
Remember when wfm was bought last August and the information Amazon sent the stockholders said everything would stay the same for 1 year for TMS? Well, August is just under 5 months away. So, we all need to decide which is more important-- having a roof over our families heads. OR wfm.
For now of course, I don't mean indefinitely.
