Some one asked some one what’s the last date. He said april 18. The other some one got excited. The first some one was about to clarify that he told the last day to file taxes. But the other person ran away in excitement. This is how the April 18 fable started.

Companies don’t look for you to see if you landed a job. Take the severance at the end of warm and get employed during it.
Why do fools always ask this question during layoffs?! It’s no wonder the company is firing you.
Heard that they cut off severance significantly if you try to leave sooner than the termination date...any truth to it? What if you find a job sooner than expected?
I'm hearing BIG humongous layoff. Say 10 to 15% tilted towards San Diego employees. Mid April plus warn notice of 60 days gets all charges in Q3 and the employees off the books before the end of the quarter. It will be a terrible day for the formerly "family oriented" company. Now it's run by cost cutters. I believe that is the only thing the CEO and CFO know how to do besides paying dividends.
April 18th is real
Asking for compassion is not something HR would do...
HR is desperate
You are a moron. You either don't work at Qualcomm or don't have anyone in the know. It's no secret around the halls when this is going down.
I hope everyone will be understanding that this will be hard for some people. I know that's asking a lot...the world has an abundance of morons.
