AS & TS will be merged under the same leadership structure. Multiple grade 10+ employees will be laid off at first, followed by a large portion of the engineers once they are done training their replacements in India, Poland, and Mexico. Those that remain will receive minor pay increases to give the appearance of company growth.

Old and out of date rumour. AS & TS merger was infact the merger of the product management function of the two organisations only... and it was overdue because they were coming up with competing/overlapping subscription offerings.
what AS and TS refer to?
Sounds reasonable to me, AS are sh--. All the customers hate them, they’re massively overpriced and basically lazy and stupid. Good call.
