Just ignore the fools that want to believe dsd isn’t ending, they can’t seem to bring themselves to the reality they will be losing their job. Anyone with half a brain knows what is coming. Nobody has a crystal ball but anyone with two eyes can see how the industry has shifted and how retailers are looking to take back control. CAO, product coming pack six, shelf tags, WM binning us, Kroger’s building distribution plants...and they still seem to believe dsd is here to stay! It will take the actually call in which they are notified to make them realize! Don’t waste your time responding to their stupid posts, they will find out soon enough!!

2018 is the year DSD ends! Grocery industry had changed so much since 2012. People are eating healthier now. Sales are down. Keebler exited stage right last year. We can't compete in this scenario. You will unfortunately find out soon. Store's want control. They want computers to order. No backstock. Deliveries nightly on their trucks. DSD won't be profitable anymore. Nabisco is getting out of DSD. More companies will continue to follow suite.

You must be the exception. Sales and revenue have been trending down nationally in recent years. Consumers are eating healthier. Companies need to change with consumer trends if they are to remain profitable.
DSD contracts are ending. My Walmart manager told me that Nabisco will be coming on their trucks soon. Within the next month or 2 he said.
I'm not buying it.
I don't know where you guys are, but in my region we're MASSIVELY benefiting from Keebler's exit. I personally have been hitting 105% the last few quarters and I barely need to try. Others are doing the same or far better.
I'm not saying it won't ever happen, but I highly doubt that it'll be within the next few years. Beyond that, who knows?

We're growing! Tate's will make us a stronger company with our power brands to compliment with! Mondelez is a great company to work for. We're not leaving DSD! They wouldn't do that to us. You people act like Mondelez is a cut throat company to work for. So far from the truth. Honest company.
Retailers are in the business of making money, just like Mondelez. If they can increase profits by eliminating dsd, why wouldn’t they? Competition is fiercer the ever with Amazon so they need to react. Notice how Keebler now leads off the cracker aisle at Kroger? They make a larger margin on Cheezit due to Keebler exiting dsd. We need to stay competitive with pricing and it won’t happen if we are charging a surcharge with dsd.
I didn't realize Kroger is wanting to eliminate DSD. I thought it was Walmart. Make sense. Kroger is beefing up by hiring 11,000 new positions and 2,000 management positions
Kroger is the one that wants to eliminate dsd! Your GM or a clerk may tell you they cannot handle us cause they don’t want to, but they are going to have to! As far a where to put us, Kroger is building new distribution plants all over the country. Just completed a 60 million dollar warehouse close by to us. We will pay a slotting fee (extra $ for Kroger) to be placed in their warehouse as does every other vendor in there. Kroger has had this in their five year plan, FACT! Kroger employees are not looking forward to it but Kroger corporate sure is! All about profit! Brace yourself, it’s coming no doubt!

Haha, I never said when, only that it was happening. I stand by that! I will also predict it will happen in 2018. Do you really care when, after 20 years for me a six-twelve month window ain’t much is it? Find it astounding that so many people are in such denial.
But you guys said DSD would end by October last year, then Jan, feb, March, April, etc. You guys know nothing! Again it may happen one day, but you don’t know when.
