converting mall locations to indirect.

In Phoenix Fashion mall as well as Chandler mall retail locations will be turned over to Indirect locations per my insider source.
If they fire you for 'cause'...no severance package...Think about that as they keep raising the sales goals.
Happening to all stores, not just mall stores. Writing is on the wall....get out before they fire you for not selling hums!
This has happened to 2 stores in my area. One in my district, one in a neighboring district.
In certain locations such as the Southwest and Northeast indirects have a bad track record. Most larger size malls have sweetheart lease deals for the next 1-2 years. Smaller mall Verizon stores are
virtuallly gone or have indirects.
Soon. Nymetro did and will have 3-5 non mall stores converting to indirect. Did they just remodel your location? Easy turnover to an agent. VZ always pays for retrofit for indirect because of cost. In the long run, less to put some money in the store then pay 10 employees including a GM and two SMs, benefits, rent and all other brick and mortar costs.
