Interact Dev cutback big time

Just heard that about 1/3 or more of Interact Dev got layoff notices last week. Man this is serious if the main product's developers are out the door. LATAM cutover is this week and then there's nothing.

Ruben radakrishna please make sure you know what you’re talking about before you spout off. I’m in Interact and don’t think ANYONE who was let go was useless. That’s pretty callous. Also, “were”, not “where”.

I am an Interact Dev. There was only one Dev who was relieved and he was based in Argentina. Rest of the folks who were laid off were the maintenance BA.

If your job depends on Qik you need to learn something else.

This is very flawed thinking, why not reuse the people who worked on the original product to develop the new product? They are subject matter experts.

See, that is the problem with Sabre they hire to complete a project then lay people off. Did you know those same people can be used to work on other projects? This baffles me. If that is the way you want to operate, hire a contracting company to staff augment for a specific contract, don't hire FTEs.

There is going to be a brand new Interact, they do not need people who work with older systems.
