Should let go DDR team
PHY team is very top heavy and management is not technical compared to other teams in bay area. On top of that the rapidbridge management screwed big time, by being inefficient, arrogant and bunch ifvtoadies and sycophants. They not deliver any PHY worth the salt. They left couple of years back when they saw that qcom was going to fire them soon.
Good riddance to this team.
Not true
After rapidbridge guys left, the remaining guys couldn't do the job and screwed up qlink big time. So they are hiring a new team in Cork to replace this one.

Fiscal year, which is end of September.

Yeah, they will still design in house, but not with these guys.
The PHY design team in SD? Why? In recent years Q did start buying more PHY IP's from Cadence, but they still design most high speed PHY's in-house.
