Wireless severance

Is it true you only get $100 per year worked? Can you also claim unemployment?

To ivon Your state must be different because we only received PTO and not personal hours when we left.

Sorry but you do not get 1000.00 per year. The policy was changed Jan 2017 before all of the layoffs would happen. I have been with the company for 21 years and my severance package was only going to be under 14000.00 with out taxes taken out. In my state I can file for unemployment after my severance pay (12 weeks) ran out. Also it has to be said from the company when they chose to pay you the severance package. You would also get all of your pto and personal pay. They knew what they were going to do way before any of this was going to happen to anyone.

So let me correct that, 15 years would be 15 weeks of pay, seriously grow up. I guess you have never made a mistake before and are perfect?

It's 1 week of pay for every year you have been there, example, if you have been there 5 years than you get 5 weeks of pay. If you have been there for 15 weeks than it would be 15 weeks of pay

It’s $1000.00 for every year you’ve worked if you’re full time. Read the severance policy under severance policy. This is fact and I know because I have the policy copied before I went out on STD. I also know from how the Audit Lead was offered in his severance.

Yes, you are most definitely eligible for unemployment.

You are eligible for severance if you are full time . Part time is not eligible.

How do you know if your eligible?

No depends on how long you worked... it's one weeks pay per year. If your eligible.
