Toyota moved to Texas for the same reason.
HQ moving to Austin after NXP. Execs looking at estates. Checking into renting space at AUS to park Corp jets. All planned. Hugh tax break.

OP is just looking at today. 1B$ saving and more sanctions agreed with China which haven't been addressed yet has not started. You think there won't be another layoff. Every M&A aims layoffs. Tomorrow if Q axe you you'll say "sh.t, wish I could have been Boardcom." I'm sick of reading such short sighted posts from people that just can't figure out what could happen in the future and change their mind every day
