I am from Qualcomm India. The notice period here is of two months. But I want to leave early. Is that possible? I am even ready to pay some money as a penalty.

@ddp I think misunderstands. OP is not being terminated, rather as employment in India involves a contract, 2 months notice is involved.
There is a early release form. If accepted, you will stop collecting salary, but get severance.
Otherwise you can leave without any penalty.
