Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

This is what we get

Received a nice letter from Fidelity today requesting that I pay back the “overpayment.”

So for me and many others (those who exchanged a computer several years ago with no ill intent), this is what we get:

-Fired without warning and for a BS reason

-U5 filed which makes it nearly impossible to get another job as a registered rep

-Have to comply with FINRA investigation or be barred

-Have to appeal unemployment disqualification because Fidelity fought it and said we aren’t able to collect

-Intimidated by this repayment letter despite following the rules of the reimbursement program and not violating any written policy

F--- you Fidelity

F--- these guys. They're not getting anything from me. I did not violate any policy and I have copies of all of the reimbursement forms to prove it. If they want to send the letter to collections, then they can go for it. I have all the necessary documents to easily dispute this.
