Intel reportedly faces age discrimination claims following layoffs

Intel facing more troubles with the U.S. Federal Government.

I wonder if the Intel Board considered this when they made the call to get rid of BK?

@1xh1, I once was told to reject an outstanding candidate who is triple majoring with a 4.0 GPA, because my manager told me I can not bring anyone other than a URM. In another case I know, a candidate is blocked, after interviewing and making an offer, because the candidate lacks diversity credentials.

Well, once investigations begin and individuals (employees and x-employees) are called into Federal offices and sworn in, I believe many of the HR individuals that know the truth with clear their consciences and begin telling the truth. Then Intel will be hit with a huge class-action lawsuit, and there will be follow-on law suits directed specifically at the former CEO. If individuals lie to a Federal EEOC investigator, they will face perjury and other serious legal problems. The Feds know how to get to the truth. Stay tuned for the show.

@1qyj - I have witnessed these behaviors and practices firsthand. Managers are required to hire female in order to meet the quota, no matter how incompetent the candidates. If manager tries to push back saying none of the applicants are qualified, the manager will be penalized. The CVs from the qualified (usually older) male non-URM candidates never even reach the manager as they are filtered out by corrupt and lying HR.

@xcy you wasn't wrong like you were about BK's mistress?

Also, the company diversity corruption must be investigated by the DoJ. Quotas are created every level and every position to hire only women. If it is not a female applicant, resumes are rejected outright, from even the brightest male candidates. Policy is in effect that if it is not a diversity hire, the hire will be blocked.

I hope BK recieves a subpoena, there must be a smoking gun memo between him and that dirty RT when they architected a massive firing of older employees to be replaced with young college graduates. The ACT employees were literally colliding with new employee orientation hires in the same lobby. No CEO in Intel's history, even tough Andy Grove would have ever contemplated this. Andy held tough performance management standards, but there was much more integrity in the process.

There should be financial clawbacks, lying scum should be held to account.

Yup 😉 😉 😊 along with several other lawsuits.

When I said few weeks ago,

Intel could stop shop overnight like Enron, I wasn't wrong.. My curse has worked.
