Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

COBRA

Hello. I’m an employee in a doomed office. It’s been over a year but no official QTD. I got an form in the mail to confirm my eligibility for COBRA benefits. Am I paranoid or did everyone get this?

I’m in claims. It’s a verification of my dependents specifically for COBRA. I arrived to my physical home address.

Maybe it is just a verification of your dependents for the insurance? I heard people are getting those.

Did you get it at your personal email address or SF email?

If you are getting emails about how to sign up for COBRA are you sure you don't have a QTD or missed a meeting or 7? What department are you in?

I doubt you are paranoid, I am also from a doomed office, I haven't got anything like that in the mail yet. Let you know if I do. What has happened to me is that I have just recently started to get emails from job sites letting me know about available jobs in my area, I haven't signed up with any job sites, some of these I have never heard of...it's like they are trying to prepare us for something.

Now mind you I'm not looking for a job, gonna wait for our QTD date and then retire and collect severance I hope, but State Farm has my email address, has SF spammed out my email address to these job sites? One has to wonder about these seemingly unrelated incidents being totally related to what is going on with our place of employment.
