Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Seems the NXP deal will be happening after all

So, now that Chinese regulators have "found" Qualcomm's application for NXP acquisition again and are considering it, it's probably just a mater of time before the deal is finally closed.

Whether this is going to turn out to be a good thing for us in the long run still remains to be seen.

If Trump things Qcom is America's hope for 5G, America is doomed.

ANOTHER $500 million or $1 billion cost cutting?

Half billion not worthwhile. Cuts in increments of $1 billion.

China will demand some work moved there; so it'll be time for more cuts within a year of closure.
