"Why shall the Molotov guy go? As long as he does everything to satisfy the investors by laying off all of you, nobody cares whether you like the Molotov or not. Money counts, not your thought here :-)"

This is the true indeed, and for a once bright company with a proud workforce the sad reality it comes to this.

It's a shame Molotov will not get a taste of his own medicine that he happily prescribes for the hard working folks inside Qcomm is all.

SMs goals are savings and shareholders returns. Nothing more. He is delivering.

And no doubt he will deliver more savings and strive for that outlandish EPS target.

He is not rewarded or focused on the 5yr health of the company. As long as the shareholders get their $$ they dont give a flyinf F whether the company is around in 10 yrs, they barely care past end of 2019.

Innovation and investments in R&D ? Long term stuff. Investors have long lost patience.

With Steve Molotov Mollenkopf still preserving his position whichever which way it's hardly surprisingl moral is low. The workers saw those +1500 (US) layoffs and know the 5G crowd is next after they have finished there current execution cycle. They have even gone public to say the cost reduction will go through 2019. People are just waiting for the next round of back stabbing, or transferring there role to a low cost geo. The senior ranks have been muttering that they have no confidence left for the downward direction the company is taking under Mollenkopf too.

Even if I have the bad mood I will give the best score in the next employee survey just to save the day. Political thinking for more cents!!!!

Stock up above $55 !!

Now to get to $82 we need 3 more rounds of layoffs; more cost cutting and double down on stock buy backs. The market will be really impressed with GD and his cost cutting; down 5000 employees = no innovations = $$$ for stockholders.

Cut R&D big time. Its just wild speculative spending thats not needed now.
