Original information we got for PT SS was that they were to be commissioned at a max rate of 24 hours (60% of your FT SS quota). Benefits and tuition assistance were to be the big selling point for the job - they're targeting college students. "Scheduling flexibility" was the reason given which equates to "we don't want to pay full timers to do this any longer" in every other company I've seen this done in.

If this goes to the historical draw down model retailers like to use there won't be any more back fill of full time and at some point the majority of remaining FT will be given the option to stay and convert to PT or walk.

Really, that means commissions are going away. I would love to be a part time SS w/ commissions though.
