To be honest, I'm disappointed. I was hoping I'd be able to walk away with a nice check in my pocket. It's not as if finding a new job in this economy would be much of an issue.
But from the looks of it, this is much smaller in scale than we thought and I am still stuck here.
I'm glad for other folks, though, I know plenty who were scared about today. I hope all of them are still here as well.
If you’re disappointed then it’s time to leave. Get your resume together, start networking, and post for jobs. Ask friends if they like their jobs and if their company is hiring. Tell family and friends you’re looking for a new opportunity. I know so many who hang around thinking they will get a severance.... and it’s yet to happen. No amount of money is worth your dignity or peace of mind. The severance isn’t worth it. Start looking now and leave on your own terms with your own severance, AKA a new job.
You are so ungrateful. I really hope you get fired without the big fat check you don’t deserve. To say you are dispointed because you didn’t get laid off is an insult to those who did.
