Verizon in talks with Netflix to sell Go90

Verizon in talks with Netflix to sell Go90. This might be good news for Go90 employees but not so good for us in retail. More to come.

I love all the go90 content they put out there. some of the shows have bad acting but they really are full of suspense and entertaining. I hope that only gets better.

After all, you don't want to be "square".

This has to be absolute BS. I've been assured that Verizon is now a "media company". Why would they discard a jewel like Go90? More likely they'll sell off Verizon Wireless to the first low bidder. That's "old crap" and Verizon is now a "media company" for millennials. They're now "hip" and "with it". You folks in sales will soon be requested, by Lowell, to start using mod words and phrases like 'far out" and "groovy".

Why would they possibly do that?

With the killing of Net Neutrality, they are poised to drive bandwidth down/throttle access for Netflix and other like streaming apps in the hopes it drives traffic to their owned apps and property like Go90. They could also in theory charge subs access fees to use Netflix, and keep Go90 free. Increa

"VZ will take the money they get from go90 sale to buy Myspace"

That would be huge, Yahoo/AOL/MySpace. Maybe then also get AltaVista and REALLY challenge Google.

Netflix offered the true value of go90 which is $0.01.

How the heck would it affect retail? No one knows about it, no one uses it, and since it's available for free to everyone regardless of what network they are on it's not a deciding factor in choosing VZW or not.
