Tours of housing and applications on hold

Admissions director abruptly told us there would be no housing tours tomorrow and applications are on hold. Anybody else get that message? Seems fishy this time of year. She would not answer questions.

The irony - the televangelist god fearing dream center, who supposedly helps the less fortunate, is now putting students out of their homes. Sounds like morals to me!

That's my point. Shut down the dorms and the campus will soon follow. Is the takeover by Dream Snatchers part of a master plan to close the schools completely or move the whole operation online? Does anyone have some insight here?

If they can't make housing at least break even and shut it down, are campus closures next?

So, are we looking at the end game? If so, will it leave the online schools intact or shut everything down? Any thoughts?

Eh. My current campus had a converted hotel like SCAD a few years back. I never was there but students described it as really run down. Then they moved into a rental complex but have been told that after this quarter housing will cease so many (esp international students) are in a panic

My first campus used a luxury condo building near that campus . Students tended to like that.

Wow. SCAD bought old hotels around Savannah and turned them into dorms then built the equivalent of condos for students. That is how you make a commitment to education, take a for profit, invest in the community and the students (not just profit) and turn it into a real academic institution.

There was a day when Ai could’ve competed with schools like SCAD, now greed and illicit admissions practices have just made Ai the laughing stock of colleges in general, all for profits aka not for profits (DCEH isn’t fooling anyone).

No housing after Dec for all Ai schools. Not a rumor. Confirmed.

July students will be told they only have 6mo in housing. Housing staff has been notified. Good luck managing what remaining students you have if they leave before dec.
