Best advice ever, leave on your own, so you don’t have to sign anything. Then you can take them to the cleaners in court.

My severance was similar. Over 19 years with school, but limited to 10 weeks, heavy pressure to sign, heavy pressure not to disclose what I had seen over the last few years.

“To accept the severance, I had to release the institution from causes of action "from the beginning of time" and sign a confidentiality clause promising not to "disparage" the university.”

Is this what happened November 2016 with the mass director and faculty layoffs? Tell us, it’s anonymous.

“The university had eliminated my job but not my job responsibilities, which were given to someone 20 years younger than me.”

We know this happened with Program Directors who were replaced by Lead Faculty (at Ai). And many Leads took a salary reduction for doing the program director’s job plus we’re required to teach 8 classes per year.
