Which city or state has lots of jobs and affordable rent???

Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana (not the jobs but the rent) but I don't think the minimum wage has been raised there either. St. Louis, MO and Appleton WI. Check out the website city-data.com to read up on people's experiences with different places. Only you know what qualities a location needs to make you happy.
