Does anyone know?

Feeling burned out, definitely
I agree with the last poster I hated the job. Surely have to operate in robot mode.
I wasn’t laid off , I left after giving notice. I was exceptional I was told but what a boring job. Listening to all the complaining and sitting there like a robot call after call for 4 years, and then getting audited on this boring job. Sitting all day , day after day. I didn’t think it was ever a great job.
Omg, folks. Turn off your computer camera and microphone....they can’t record you magically if they don’t have access, and they can only record your calls through your phone and what you’re doing on your computer! They can’t Home monitor you through anything you have, and your Aruba doesn’t have a magic eye! Your friend must’ve been on the humana phone or her laptop camera or speaker was on
I’ve been meeting my metrics but that’s without taking my breaks- yes I know that’s my fault - just tying to see/ figure out everyone is doing it
Call audits record your phone calls. She must have dialed her cell or home phone for some free talk time.... no other way to record your audio at this time.
They do record your environment! I had a coworker get a call audit and instead of a call it was her television going between calls and even her talking to her dog. Your coaches CAN listen in on you and Humana does record your environment. Believe what you want I’m just letting you know. I make my metrics and I am happy with my job so whatever.
Lots of hoops to jump thru to coach people. We have rules to follow. Level setting is something we must do in many cases so we aren’t “picking on” someone.
You are not currently recorded to that degree. But MF does have a new workforce management division and I expect more visibility of what you are doing on your computer.
Idk why it’s a big deal. In any non virtual role your boss could drop in and see you work right? Sometimes we pull valuable tips for other employees by monitoring a good performer. Sometimes you catch people holding their space bar with a block and taking a nap.
Before you attack me, I was not commenting on those not meeting metrics, but those that were purposefully slacking, not those that had longer calls or more alerts.
Don’t give incorrect statements, we do not record your environment and do not wish to.
Humana can see exactly what we’re doing. They time how often we move our mouse how often we stroke our keypad they record our environment through their computer. Which is legal because it’s a company issued device. So if you’re not making your metrics but you are working and they can see that you’re not taking time between your calls without any activity at your computer you are OK . If you think about it making eight calls in eight hours is a realistic goal. Maybe not every day but most days
Just have to say the just because you aren’t meeting metrics has nothing to do with being a slacker it’s very easy to get behind with just one day off work with minimal coverage. You can have your day planned and get hit with 5 post discharge alerts. You’re unfair and arrogant to make
Assumptions like that. Some have members that take more time or inherit a mess. I certainly hope you’re as perfect as you think you are because you could be the next one being counseled.
No, poster, it doesn’t apply to me, and I am part of a team, as are those who aren’t doing the expectations and don’t have rules applied to them, who are causing more of a burden to their teammates
Try to think beyond just yourself. You are part of a team, everything isn't just about you. It still applies to you though so just accept the message and move forward.
I do.
To the people who meet metrics do you also not have time for your breaks
Below poster, agree. I actually asked my coach about an email that got sent to the team about expectations, and I asked about it, since I am meeting them, and the response was that some people aren’t. So, deal with them directly. It’s not my business who is doing or not doing, but those not doing put a burden on us all....strange that aspect is not micromanaged
We don’t want to know who is coached and who is not coached. I just don’t want to hear all the problems addressed to my whole team when there’s only one or two people not doing their job correctly.
What happens is you have to level set with everyone. Plus the coach has no business telling you who they have coached or have not coached. I would not want my business thrown around
I agree.
Last poster I would like to think everyone who works has that understanding. The reality is, 1-2 HCM’s slacking or coasting causes the whole team to sit through a scare tactic meeting. It would be nice if the coaches or Coms could grow a pair and address the issue head on with the ones who need it.
Well, if I don't do my job there are consequences right? How this concept is lost on some people blows my mind. Welcome to the world of work and the responsibility that goes with it.
Our coach has not been negative at all. Thank goodness
Our team meeting was nothing like previous poster's meeting. No threats of PIPs or metrics not being met. Glad I don't have your coach!
HCM-RN
That is what they have done in the past to get people to leave. What department are you in?
I don’t think there will be another RIF anytime soon. Our team meeting was mostly us being threatened with “coaching and PIPs” if needed. Came out of nowhere. So I guess that’s where it’s headed, no layoffs, just PIP’s and termination.
I do not think so. My whole team has a roster size of 300 plus and as soon as members are moved to monitored, we get new members.
Serious replies only
nope, not happening. They broke the cycle of 5 straight quarters. Seems more stable.
