I'm getting really tired of having to dread being laid off every few days. This has become a custom in the past several weeks I could really do without.
Do we have any more info on tomorrow's layoffs? If not how many will be affected, then at least what is expected to be hit the most?
Nobody knows, not even the SRO until the day of the cuts. The engineering supv was told the morning she had to tell her employees. There is no notice. Some people are handed a box and watched clean out the desk and escorted out immediately, some worked two days till the end of the pay period, some worked a week. All depends on the dept.
There is no sense asking areas or numbers because nobody knows.
