Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Friendly reminder

Walking away from State Farm is always an option.

You need to work for someone who values your talents, knowledge, and loyalty. You don't owe anything to State Farm.

Life is too short to waste it being stuck where you are neither happy nor appreciated.

There are better options out there.

It takes a special sick person to gloat about how happy you are in a situation where others are so miserable and unhappy. I hope Karma doesn’t catch up with you soon. But it will.

Different people responding to the same topic are assigned the same 8 digits, followed by 4 identifiers.

Keep to the topic and respond intelligently to serious issues affecting displaced or employees experiencing unsettling decisions about their careers impacting their families.

@TlaI93, So you make a statement, get no responses then answer your own statement 3 times pretending to be different people? You realize we can tell the same person posted all 4 prior messages in this thread, don't you?

Realistically it’s not an option when you have under 4 years to retire and the last couple of years are looked at for social security or pension rating. If you can hang in their until you can retired or get offered involuntary severance I would recommend you hang in there. It just a job at this point, supporting your family, I find other avenues outside of work to make me happy. The grass or jobs at this point in your life is not greener. For younger generation, absolutely go elsewhere where you may be valued and an asset to those companies. BUT those are few and in between. Look at Forbes for companies rating and employee satisfaction rating. Good luck

There are some satisfied employees at SF. Employees correctly servicing customers. Keeping customers informed and happy. It's not all gloom and doom. Some employees just upset because the decisions made could have been better decisions or carried out in a better way. Love me some SF!!

WCCS Deployed - very happy and satisfied. Fill valued. I do agree if your are not happy you should leave the company as you don't owe anything to SF. But on the other hand, SF does not owe anything to you or I.
