What is the average age of customers that walk into your store every day?
I've seen people complain that most of the people who walk through their doors are older, but that's not the case with us (but that could be our location.)
I was just wondering what the average across the stores is.
The millenials have the tide pod challenge, the baby boomers have the shyster challenge. What we do is walk into a store filled with used car salesmen trying to sell things to people that they don’t need. You ask them why your phone isn’t working, tell them that when you were younger, a “hum” meant something else, wonder around the store and point at different things and ask “what’s that”? After wasting their time for about an hour, leave the store, go across the street to Starbucks, and watch your friend go across and do the same thing.
Once baby boomers die out... then will retail die with it. Good point op.
What does any of this have to do with layoffs?
Old. 65-70 years old & they all are settled in their ways and all they EVER want is help on how to get their phones out of accessibility mode, why their phone won’t turn on (they powered it off) you know everything that technical support could help them with.
Makes for long boringASS days
Middle aged people at my store. They just come in to ask questions about their phones, fedex boxes and to transfer stuff. They don't buy anything. Most of the time they just come to waste our time.
Every time I have been in a VZ store lately I was the only customer in the store so my age of 68 would upset the average.
