Two people I know just got laid off (in MTS) not sure how many more and some are being told they will be laid off in September. It's really awful here.

Some of the guys in Poland are great, some are not just like any other place and the pay rate is much higher than it used to be when we first started hiring people there (though certainly less than NY). Now we also compete with Facebook, Google, etc and we are not going to get the best Warsaw has to offer anymore, This whole idea is about 3 years too late.
Too bad the one MTS person who should go will be the last one standing.
my manager is pretty convinced they will be in the next round of layoffs.

The people in Warsaw are definitely NOT LNT..
and they get paid way less than you ......

Yes that's the deal, they're being asked to stay until September and then they will be given their bonuses but very little severance or at least that's my understanding from the one person that I spoke to
