Time to Recognize

The focus is enterprise, not residential. Though it seems illogical as one looks at their local responsibilities. On a global basis, the shift is to enterprise. It makes perfect sense to utilize fiber assets on this better roi arena. Think about it, how many residential customers does it take to match one enterprise customer? Plus there is far more expense for the residential service than enterprise. The new ctl focuses on return, unlike pre-merger. So maybe it looks messy and one thinks "how will the residential customer be taken care of?" Doesn't matter. Sooner residenrial withers, sooner enterprise blossoms. Time to maximize cash from residential by cutting expenses. Ctl is in the business of making money. Jobs are a byproduct, not the purpose. Unfortunate, but just the way it is.

It's a business, we get it. Enterprise is the cash cow, but gives the company no right to abandon existing residential. That's not loyalty, but the company accepts connect America Funds for rural America...Treat ur smallest paying customer like you do major corporations and you will have a good business. Do it how they are now it will fold, but the ones making it fold will have their money.

So give away or waste a quarter of your revenue, sounds brilliant, is that what they teach them in business school?

Under the new combined structure 75% of the revenue is from Enterprise/Global, only 25% from Consumer/Residential

My question is how can there be enough enterprise customers to completely eliminate all residential customers. There can possibly be as many businesses as there are residents.
