Former Receiver Here. Yes, all we did was browse online and look at cat photos... I'm not being a joker here, that was like 50 percent of my job. It's funny, at first, i did do quite a bit of work. I was hustling and kick a$$, then as the work started to become more fruitless and less gratifying, my resolve went straight out the window. You don't lie, TuVa8EC-1dqv, Receiving pay should be lower than what it is.
Y'all are so dumb. Correct Pay is payments to suppliers. You dumb punts!

Receiving should be a low paid job barely anything gets scanned in. Not on files still make it to the sales floor. Most of there day is just waiting around and internet surfing. I have only ever heard one person say they worked with receivers that actually did a good job.
My TL and Atls, and BUYER don't like to be on the salesfloor. At least half their pay should be cut.
