Push from managed to monitored has been long coming. Saves money while still allowing those members that may need help to have a safety net
They aren’t planning a lay off. We were told today they are hiring in a few months.
I think they are aiming for another big layoff come September.
How is that going to impact the CMs? I thought there was already a big push to monitored from managed. Are more CMs going to be laid off? Hcmss lay offs? There’s not enough of them at this point, how could they lay off more? As I understand it, a member can be in monitored and if they call an hcmss for help, they can move them to managed on their own. Many times the member calls the hcmss directly
That do not need monthly calls due to goals achieved but still will have acces to Care manager support if needed
Do they no longer need services? -SNP teammate
