Intel 10nm looked good three years ago on a ppt when they had three year lead and they couldn’t get any real customers but their poor own product groups all signed up.
Leap forward three years the intel product groups have no products and are in totally confusing while if you went to TSMC you’d be shipping,
What. FUBAR for the internal teams to be still stuck on 14 now imagine if they had alternatives or competition. Oops the modem, client, and server now do so it will be a wild ride down to the bottom.
@1nrq - True. Intel's so-called foundry is a complete and total disaster. In fact, TMG is just an anchor driving the boat down at this point. Funny how Intel's once biggest strength became its greatest weakness.
Don't forget Intel played TSMC's game with custom foundry and failed utterly.
