Hey what’s even more sad is there are retail jobs that pay more than a T19-Rate. With better healthcare and better retirement.
There are lots and lots of jobs that pay more than GE wages and treat the employees better! And that is with no union dues.

GE in Schenectady is like an elderly family member suffering from cancer. The sooner he or she dies, the better for him/her and the entire family that were being dragged through the illness.

GE played the union like a fiddle in 2011 and now it’s bittersweet to see the karma on corporate greed.
Why are you even working here then? Why did you except the job? GE offered you a job with and told you how much they were willing to pay you with your skillset and you accepted it. GE and the union owe you nothing and you owe them nothing so find a new job and move on with your life. If you feel you made a bad decision chalk up as a lesson learned ....sorry but you're an adult so act like one. Good luck
