Sam's has given severance to Dallas TX. region for receiving clerk, PTC, jewelry lead. Confirmed with two associates in this region who received
severane this year. Is the reason for not rolling this out to all regions at once due to cost, maybe wanting to give severance by region, by sales or are these test clubs?
Original poster: I believe we are questioning the facts involved. If an associate transfers they do not get severance. And you don't know when this happened? Do you have a PTC or not? Can you please check your sources and repost?
I've never heard of them offering severance to individuals in certain positions. Why would they do it by region? When they offered severance, or a different position to the audit team and the cash office it was all done at once throughout the company. Why would any other position be any different? It doesn't make any sense.

The two associates that received severance worked at our club and transferred out. Two associates kept in contact with them they did not get what month but said it was this year 2018.
