No one here keep their assignment more than 3 years. Half of which is spent on their advancement to next assignment. So none of them care about their current situation. They just check the boxes like Schlumberger taught them to do. Just keep up with allthe HSE requirements and life is easy. Everything you need to know has been documented over the years. All you will need to do is repost the findings to get advanced. Avoid making enemies, you will work for them someday. It is the SLB cycle of life.

Too much focus on employee and not enough on business. Over population through out the management. Total opposite approach from the rest of the industry.

It's too late, this company is overburdened with totally useless and out of touch management, there is no leadership, innovation or new product initiative.

Cost is the bottom line at the exclusion of everything else, knowledge, skill set , and motivation are almost non existent.

For those of you who have the skills and determination to survive outside of SLB it's time to start looking before the ship slowly sinks. it's a very sad end for all those employees who have made a positive contribution over many years.

Replace western employees with those from developing countries who are more grateful of having a job and happy to work for lower salaries

Start another web based “engage to excel” employee engagement program via emails and make it compulsory to complete the program. Make up a good marketing slogan for it and tell upper management to spread the message and give them a bonus for doing so. Have a highly paid consultancy company design it to make sure it’s a quality job.

And just watch all the employees start believing in the company again. 😂 😂 😂

Best way to turn this around is to hit the casino and down half a bottle of bourbon then head for the black jack tables. Works every time.
