Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Bartlesville is finally on the block to close.

We have closed many remote over staffed remote offices over the years. It has always been amazing that Bartlesville has been able to dodge previous centralization efforts. Apparent that Bartlesville is unable to avoid this one. Good luck to all whether you want to transfer or not! Time for me to go fishing!

Appears our attachment to Bville is gone. Technology has rendered it easily moved. The writing is on the wall.

Lots of flights go to other places other than Bville. Midland/Odessa, Alaska, UK, Norway, etc..

how could we possibly justify supporting an internal airliner (and associatedly-staffed executive corporate jets) if we closed down BVL?
