This school is awful. If you are a faculty member that cares about education don't work here. All they care about is passing the students and if you don't pass the students, you get "does not meet expectations" on your review. You need to have a passing rate of 70% in your class or else you get questioned. Nevermind that the students can't write a sentence, it's your fault. Your course gets reviewed by team leads who will rip it apart and even if you are meeting all the expectations, you aren't. It's very disappointing. I had high hopes for this university but if they treat their faculty like this and you are a highly respected individual in academia, don't waste your time applying, go to a real university.

From my experience and that of other faculty I teach with - this statement is not true. I've been teaching for snhu for over a year and have found the students to be very competent, hardworking, good writers and far above average as designers.
The courses are very well written. The rubrics are well structured.
'You need to have a passing rate of 70% in your class or else you get questioned' - never heard of or encountered this.
"our course gets reviewed by team leads who will rip it apart and even if you are meeting all the expectations, you aren't. It's very disappointing.' never encountered this either. My team leads have been very helpful and are well informed.
SNHU started as a for-profit college. It's just returning to its roots.
