Thread regarding Sears layoffs

One of the greats

What a great week the beginning of the end has started. The last assets will be sold off and the stock is heading to sit next to the Titanic at the bottom of the ocean. GREAT WEEK!!!!!!

@UHYpW8N-1evf Sold my stock option when I was leaving sears in 2006. Owed IRS nearly half of my proceed because Sears didn't report my cost basis. Had a hard time convince IRS that until I found my stock option statement online. To this day I thought Sears did it intentionally to write off that granted stock option as much as possible.

While the OP finds some reason to celebrate the demise of SHC, thousands of employees will be tossed out on the street looking for jobs including RRC workers.

Companies that have shipping and delivery contracts with SHC will lose a source of income....possibly resulting in layoffs and downsizing in those companies as well...

The ones who will suffer from the collapse of SHC are the front line workers.....not Eddie as he will add money to his pockets in the sell off of company assets...

So in effect, the OP in this post is dancing and celebrating over the fact that Eddie will be lining his pockets with money while the average working stiff gets the shaft.....

I used to get stock options as part of my pay package. I sold my option off in 2007, at their peak at 122.00 a share. Cleared over $20,000 for nothing. Good times!
