I always thought DN was the jewel in the crown of the micro activities. Kind of weird what RC has done to it, doesn't make any sense from a long term financial or IP standpoint. It was also likely to drive multiprocessing in the Auto space and V2V. If you really believe in Auto you don't get rid of DN. Tells me they don't believe in a long term strategy for NXP. NXP will be gone in a few years either sold in whole or in part. When average employees can see openly what's happening so can the market and potential buyers. Maybe they want it that way.

NXP does not like to invest on high-end product. They only like low margin but high volume products. They killed all high value DN IP blocks
NXP is a company which is in constant crisis , NXP operates by saving money, not by building new products. When was the last time they did something fantastic. Sad that Qualcomm backed out because of what all happened
Where did you hear it?
