The company is not even bothering to send any sort of communication to employees whose managers were laid off last week. I know a group of employees who are now not reporting to any manager and were thrown in isolation.
There is an IRIF next week. No idea on details yet.
I don't think (could be wrong) that Xerox is required to file a WARN notice if severance is provided which equals the advance notice timeframe of a WARN notice. So the tally could be more than 250.
8/30 is when the sales side of the house is getting hit
I'd be surprised if there were more in the next month. If there are more than 250 let go, Xerox had to file a WARN notice with NY which has some financial hit, but I don't know what it is.
By staying under 250 they don't have to file this notice, but they have to wait about a month to let the next batch go.
I'd like to know as well...
