I only own 7 t-shirts, so it's been in my weekly rotation for the past 3 years.

@UL3Na2A-ephi you lucky b--tard, at least you got one!
I never once wore my 'Thanks John' T-shirt. Had absolutely no desire to.
@6jwm - that's decent of you. I was afraid they'd damage my car's clear coat.
I just used them to wipe the floor.. #sorryjohn
I used it to wipe my car few years back. Good for cleaning.
"Thanks John"..... I threw that shirt (as well as others) away years ago, along with all my Cisco Awards. Seriously. Felt great to purge.
@UL3Na2A-1hjy I always sold my RSU and ESPP on vesting day. I would then take the proceeds and buy FANG stocks. Or really, almost anything. ut CSCO. If you had done the same, you would be a multi-millionaire.

With all the layoffs, there shouldn't be many folks from the John area around.
Exactly ManSplainTheMighty...I was also LR'd last year after 15+ good Cisco years.
Best advice I can give everyday Cisco folks...max your ESPP, sell only your sunk cost (and only if actually necessary), and don't sell your RSUs. My base salary was never over $105k, but all that ESPP, old (pre-RSU), and RSUs is north of $500k. For an everyday person, that was a nice parting gift.
Play your cards right...don't buy a BMW. When you are post Cisco you'll know it all worked out...if in it for the long haul until Grim LR Reaper comes calling.
Rock On John...I owe you a beer.

Yes. It reminds me of how well he and our cisco family really do catch the market transitions. I miss his lisp.
"THANK JOHN" ? did anyone really miss JC ?
I got laid off from Cisco just as the "Let's throw a party for ourselves with stockholder dollars" John and Chuck show went off and so I never got a T-shirt. I wish I had because between my severance, pay increase, and RSU's that are actually worth something- I am around $300 K ahead of where I would have been if I kept my Cisco gig. Thanks John, Rock On Chuck.
Top quality cotton, best product Cisco made
