This latest round of layoffs coming just days away from the 2 year anniversary of the last major RIF nearly 75 let go then coupled with the nearly 3 dozen people RIF’d today that’s nearly 110 just @ KC SS alone not to mention all of the wonderful talented people that have walked out it’s truly sad to witness and they talk about creating a group to boost morale all the while AIG is destroying it are you kidding this place seems to be in free fall seems to be no enthusiasm no talk about how the place is going to grow or about growth it’s shameful actually where do you go from here when will the next shoe drop and we know it’s going to happen they know it’s going to happen have you looked up Project 2020 Manila

Hang on. Don't be discouraged. There's other companies that really care more about their employees than AIG. Just be prepared. Have your resume up to date and start networking. Don't leave until you get your severance. Because of the BS that we have all had to endure, you are owed that severance. Take it and treat yourself and then just move on from the dispicable place
This RIF is going to be much larger than 2 years ago and will continue to hit many of the groups it hit 2years ago. By 2020 the work force will really be lean.
