Thread regarding Goodyear layoffs

"Innovation" at Goodyear

The news piece says it all : https://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/treading-dangerously-lax-safety-inside-goodyear-tire-plants

Current market cap at about 50% of what it was in Q3 2017. Strikes at factories in Mexico. In Europe, France, UK factories shutdown.

Cause is cited officially as rising "cost of raw materials" and competition from cheaper quarters. Chinese rubber is taking over. Will jobs also relocate to China? How long will the useless Business people in Akron keep firing us Americans to protect their own jobs and inefficiency?!
