BE DISGUSTED WITH THE WALTONS and the BOARD OF DIRECTORS!! ALL OF THEM!! !THEY are the greedy ones who dont give a sh– about ANY employees who keep them rich!!! We work our asses off and now with this new restructure the management teams are choosing their friends and family to create these SUPER TEAMS of associates and taking 10% of dms pay to accommodate the 10% increase given to those who are fortunate to be chosen for these NEW positions!!! As well as other associates who's jobs were eliminated!!!HOW DARE WALMART!!!! I'm so disgusted and hate this company so much! What a way to f— up Mr Waltons legacy. From what I heard he was a kind and brilliant human being. What a way to tarnish and destroy his good name.
It's time for walmart to be unionized, so much retaliation, intimidation, disrespect, and no care for any employees. Walmart s—s!!!

Our store is low volume. Elimination of overnight oct 5th. Coach positions being interviewed for as well. They had a 24 to 48 hr window for team lead position applications and very few knew of course. Overnight supports are just SOL. All overnight associates and ON supports loose differential. ON mgrs get to interview for a coach job along with day mgrs. They had a 48 hour notice as well. My Understanding is that DMs get it last. And then they can take humongous pay cuts and work reduced/core hours or go pound salt. CSMs also reduced the number of csms. There is no supervision, follow up, or process now. One can only wonder how humpty dumpty will get up again. People who are full time with Core hours are lucky if they get 34hrs

Fact: CSMs and AMs talked to, jobs being eliminated Oct 5 2019. All can apply for the newly created 'team lead' position.

I've worked for Walmart 20yrs now and I can honestly say this...I feel like I've wasted all those yrs on a company that has gotten so greedy and dishonest. The dishonesty goes from the assistant mgrs. all the way up to and including the market managers. In fact, I personally think the store managers and market managers are the worst of the bunch. All they care about is the bottom line and how much bonus they can make off of the backs of the hourly workers. I have no use for any of them whatsoever! Walmart was once a good place to work, however that is not the case anymore. They work us like we're robots and have just one person in each dept every day, including weekends. I am so disgusted with this company these days and I look forward to hearing from another company so I can get the hell out of there!!

If companies go all out robotic I wouldn't shop there. I haven't been into a Walmart in years. Why would anyone shop at a store that did nothing for mankind? I think robots will disappoint retailers as a phase. People want human interaction and they want to touch and feel products before they buy them.

How would one best way process eliminate the need for supervisors to manage the employees?

Robots can stock, scan, record conversations, and interactions with customers. Spy on workers at store level.

List goes on...

Actually there is a robotic system that unloads the trucks now too. The video only shows 2 unloaders.

Sounds like human won’t have a place there for work in near future. All register will be self checkout. Robotics maintenance, Drones in back room scanning I guess human only needed at door to check Receipts

Is this a pilot at stores now? I did hear a rumor that all salesfloor & backroom supervisor positions would be eliminated due to everything being one best way processes. I have no facts to back that rumor.
