Amon is claiming that 5G will be ready by April next year. With so many setbacks (latest 7nm fiasco as a cherry on top), God knows we desperately need a win. Delivering 5G before others could definitely get us back on track, but I'm afraid that his statements are not reflecting reality, but rather his optimism. Can we deliver 5G by this time?

QCOM has to be at fore-front of 5G with products, marketing, hype, noise, demos, protos and everything else. QCOM can't afford to be 2nd. Whether it brings revenue or not, QCOM needs to be there at the forefront.
