HD -- layoffs in NA Enterprise Architecture team?

HD -- layoffs in NA Enterprise Architecture team? I heard a a couple long-time directors and managers in HD's EA are looking for new opportunities. What's going on there?

I doubt RL is on the chopping block. Would look terrible for him to chop a female leader.

It's really quite simple.

1) RG's organization (of which HD is a part) missed their FY18 cloud number.

2) Safra is maintaining corporate margins.

3) We are still committed to growing the cloud business.

4) The OD and National cloud businesses are bigger and growing faster than Enterprise.

5) HD and others believe that 3 highly skilled hubsters and/or 8 global resources aligned to OD and National will make a bigger impact to the cloud business than tenured OEA/ECAs aligned to Enterprise.

Also, there is several folks transferring around Oracle. Long time NA Sale Engineer Director (Public Sector - Federal) moving to Product Management. Any news? It must be another 'small' purge.

RL, one of HD's managers (and a very long term Oracle manager) was transferred into a group that handles Enterprise Cloud Architecture (ECA) certifications. I would imagine that this group is on the chopping block as MH announced last month that cloud revenue would no longer be reported, and it's pretty clear that pre-sales consulting is moving to the hubs, to be done primarily by new college hires in the "Class Of" program.
