It wasn’t perfect before but it did work. This new model has taken away all autonomy and authority from experienced employees in favor of micromanagement. Can’t wait to get the hell out of the dying Chicago office. I remember when we had actual relationships with vendors and customers. Now we’re just a number.

I own several body shops in the Chicago area and I can tell you your "estimators" that are sitting in a cubicle in some call center like Phoenix can't write an accurate collision repair estimate to save their life.
State Farm is losing credibility and customers. Sure my guys make mistakes, but we get checked on by your field estimators and most of these field estimators are going to retire/quit in a couple of weeks.
So now, State Farm is losing talent and experienced employees in addition credibility, customers, and profits.

Not sure if the TM left because they know something most do not. They probably left because our work environment is so bad. Seeing that in many departments. Those who can are leaving. With the unemployment rate at low levels, other employers would be happy to take experienced professionals to help them grow.
