What happened to the volunteer RIF? The deadline to volunteer was before end of June
Now we are past half of July and still no word on volunteers or starting on non-volunteer
Did they get 5% volunteers so it will be 15% non-volunteers by what date? End of August? September?
Volunteer and most non volunteers will be told week of July 30th. Some will be delayed as the reality of not having anyone to transfer the work to.
HR is only loyal to their handlers...... This "loyality" non-sense was Never there when the 401K started way back when, the match was an inducement for us to save.
oh yes - why give the 401k match to "loyal" employees who are kicked out the door by their employer? thanks, honeyhell. no wonder people are running for the exits
I was told volunteers would go in general no later than end of August but there could be a few exceptions to go longer. Nobody could tell me timing on non volunteers since it would depend on how many volunteers there would be and how many people apply for open TS and Homes jobs
I wanted to volunteer but wanted to go end of December to get 401k match and HR said no, and they would not do a match to August so I did not volunteer
Since Homes Spin may not go until December instead of October as planned I bet RIFs are in Q4, but that is pure speculation and logical thinking. Logic in this situation is probably not being used
