Anyone feel like the SMB role will be the next to go? With One Talk sales going down ever since AR and Hunt are no longer free no one gives two sh--s about it. Not to mention the fact this it just had another outage.....

Totally ignorant comments. SMB and B2B are the only channels up year over year in the company. SMB is actually adding headcount in most markets and is seeing significant growth for new accounts in the 1-25 space. Retail will continue to face cuts because the way people shop is changing. SMB and B2B will continue to be invested in and grow because that is where the growth opportunity is.
They already got rid of it twice and brought it back.
This role is great it pays usually 100k+ and you get to sit on you a55 most of the time. ride it till it falls
Our smb does nothing, sits in the back most of the day and most times won't come to the floor to help customers. We do our own business stuff,if we waited for our rep it'd never get done.
Could you see this going away before indirect account managers? Seen a small surge in people leaving the indirect channel
Reps on the floor? I would put retail on the chopping block before SMB...
The reality is growth is gone and the tools used in the past to drive growth are no longer needed.
It is the most overpaid and unsupervised channel in wireless sales. So much money spent on out of town meetings when it all could have been done on conference calls. Not to mention the money spent frivously on awards. I think every rep in my state was given a Yeti cooler.
I see it going away. Current reps on the floor can do it. Why pay for a role
