Isn’t it a AAP violation to not post job postings for Director or below positions? If so then West is breaking the law!
What positions you talking about may I ask?
Anyone notice how many people are being hired into positions that are not even posted to give current employees a chance to move up?
@UfbMXmH-wavy -- my resume is sent out everywhere, I had a few interviews & no call back and had to cancel a few due to the time frame. Lucky enough I got a 2nd job. But as far as West goes, I need to get out before this year is up...quick and fast!
West is losing way more than it’s winning. This trend will not reverse.
A 2% raise doesn't even cover your cost of living increases. If everything goes up except your paycheck, it's time to dust off your resume.
With the pay for performance, I recently had a 2% raise. It may not be nothing, but its something.
The Revenue Generation business in Wisconsin... the client that left was AT&T, which was one of West's largest and longest-standing customers. West had been trying to divest/sell the Revenue Generation business but due to horrible margins on that business was having a difficult time. They were very close with one buyer and nearly final when AT&T left and the deal fell through.
Again... is there anything happen for the West Point GA location?
Very sad indeed. What location/dept is getting laid of next? I heard late August or September. Anyone hear anything? West is in BIG trouble.

So on the commission clawbacks then, do you see them firing even more employees? Something worse?
It’s official. Clawbacks on commissions that West couldn never figure out for 7 months. This is bad, really bad!!
These goals / metrics just causing more people to leave. How long can West last? West has become a joke. Most companies think they are going out of business!!
I agree @UfbMXmH-buqy Everyone's true colors show eventually!! Management is showing that right now.
Management is continuing to hound employees about their time, punches, and taking shorter lunches. People are getting PINS and being written up for minor and petty things. Yet management has looked the other way when clear violations of company wide policies have been broken. This place has become a joke and you now see managements clear colors. It is not pretty.

The goals are a joke, everyone knows they arent getting a raise from it, they just want to use ithem for more layoffs. They want to spin it so it seems like performance issues. Why should anyone care about setting goals and improving when the company is a sinking ship and good performance has never been rewarded in the past?
Changes seem more like they are trying to set things up so you will get fired before they will have to lay you off. Managers are becoming more and more quiet. Resumes have been sent out!! I can't continue to watch this unfold.

Finally figured out commission plans. Now requiring returned payouts from first 6 months. Going to get ugly.
What was the result of the meeting? I couldn’t attend.

Where did you get this information? I work in Omaha and as of today I have not seen anything about a company wide meeting. No emails have been sent out.
There's a company wide meeting scheduled on Tuesday, maybe they have a special event planned for Monday. Other than that, the dumpster fire rages on in our hearts and minds.
